Education:

Doctor of Technology in physical chemistry, 2005, Tampere University of Technology, dissertation entitled "Controlling and Tuning the Photoinduced Electron Transfer in Porphyrin-Fullerene Dyads by Chemical Linkers"

M.Sc. in physics (automation and electronics), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, 1984, major subject 'Laser Technology'.

Research interests: Solar Cells, Photochemistry, Lasers, Biophysics, Computer Sciences.

Professional skills: At my work in TUT, in addition to small amount of teaching and research, I was keeping instrumentation up. This includes aligning and tuning optical systems, fixing electronics and mechanics, designing and implementing in metal and plastic small adds-on (e.g. sample holders), programming and maintaining computers and websites. My experience of a metal turner before university and education in lasers and electronics helps a lot.

On my previous job, as a sales manager I was contacting customers and discussed prices and conditions, and also cared about the computer systems.

And before that, I led a small team in designing and building from scratch one of the first in Moscow fully connected to the Internet computer network in General Physics Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, with 200 computers in 5 buildings at the end of my participation in 1997.
